GeoAPI reconciles published population datasets into a single value for every administrative area worldwide — and returns the observations that value was derived from, each tagged with its provider, reference year, and measurement method. Free to use, with no paid tier.
Reconciliation is the product
No single dataset covers the world at a usable resolution. Boundaries, enumerated censuses, official projections, and gridded models are published by different institutions on different schedules — and for the same area they routinely disagree, sometimes by a factor of two. Picking one provider and calling it authoritative is a decision most APIs make silently, on your behalf.
GeoAPI stores every figure as a distinct observation and selects the headline value under a fixed precedence rule: measurement method first, then source priority, then reference year. The rule is published, applied identically everywhere, and independent of which import happened to run last. The observations that lost remain queryable, so any figure can be traced back to what produced it.

A resolved figure per area plus the complete observation record behind it, and a coverage endpoint that reports precisely which areas hold data and which do not.
Places
Business and point-of-interest records, queryable by bounding box or by radius around a coordinate, for reading economic activity within an area.

The map and every public dataset endpoint work with no sign-in and no key — a per-address rate limit is the only constraint. Registration exists solely to issue an API key for your own account endpoints.
